SeventySix Capital, a leading sports tech venture capital firm that focuses on investing in sports tech, esports and sports betting companies, invested in Quintar, a Santa Clara, CA-based augmented reality company. This investment adds to SeventySix Capital’s growing portfolio of innovative companies that are transforming the sports industry.
Quintar, led by CEO and Founder, Dr. Sankar “Jay” Jayaram - former CTO at Intel, is developing an AR-centered fan technology platform company enabling content owners, creators, and rights holders to build captivating live action AR experiences and revolutionize fan engagement.
“We are hoping with what we’re going to be doing this year, these experiences on mobile devices will become commonplace next year, and on AR headsets whenever the right ones come out," Dr. Jayaram said in an interview.
